Tuesday Arvo 1-4pm (Block 3B)
Our four Foundation Courses last for 5weeks each and cover basic throwing (bowls and cylinders) and handbuilding techniques (slab and coil). The intention is to encourage students to complete the Foundation Courses which will give them a sound grounding in the basic techniques.
Class dates for ‘Tues Arvo’ block are:
19 Aug, 26 Aug, 2 Sep, 9 Sep, 16 Sep
Terms and Conditions:
Fees for Foundation classes are paid in advance. Your class offering is not confirmed until the full fees are paid. Any cancellation’s within 1 week before class stars will incur a $150 administration fee.
If you don’t turn up, you have forfeited your fees and cannot ask for a refund.
We do not offer refunds for missed classes or cancelations during the block. We will attempt to accomodate a makeup class within the same block but this may not be possible as all classes are full. However, we can offer you studio access between 1 - 5pm Mon, Wed, Thurs between 1-5pm & Saturday 10pm - 1pm. This is untutored studio access only.
Once you have completed 4 foundation classes you will have the opportunity to transfer to a “core class”
Class includes clay, some materials and firing service for class work
